Ľubovňa castle in Stará Ľubovňa won the prize Phoenix – Cultural Monument in 2011 for the restoration of Renaissance palace and its innovative disclosure to the public.

Award of the Chairman of the Prešov Region was awarded to Ľubovňa museum for a long-standing professional approach to the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage and for exemplary presentation of monuments of Prešov region.

The Union of Towns of Slovakia 2013

Ľubovňa Museum – Castle in Stará Ľubovňa received in 2013 the main prize of the Union of Slovak Towns for disclosure exposure of folk architecture and the area of castle Ľubovňa for blind and deaf people in order to allow the full exposure in the next stage to disabled people.

Competition is announced annually by the Club photo publicists Slovak Syndicate of Journalists. Ľubovňa Museum presented the historical appearance of the Ľubovňa castle from 1530 until 2011 in calendar 2013.

Seven Wonders of the Prešov Region (2nd place)

In 2008-2009 the public vote on seven wonders of Prešov Region, among which the castle in Stará Ľubovňa took the second place.

Benefactor Musaei Scepusiensis 2008

Slovak National Museum-Spiš Museum in Levoča in support of cooperation with the public in order to promote the history and cultural heritage of the region, as well in order to increase media coverage and obtain various forms of support and cooperation has awarded since 2006 the prize of Benefactor Musaei scepusiensis. The prize is awarded in seven categories for outstanding professional activity in the development of museums, cultural heritage and museology region. Ľubovnianske Museum received the prize in 2008.
