Civic organization “Friends of the castle Ľubovňa”

“Friends of the castle Ľubovňa” is a civic organization that is dedicated to the development of the castle Ľubovňa by form of promotion, upbringing – educational programs, organizing training and educational events in the historic arts and so on. At the same time the association has undertaken to closer cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations and institutions of similar orientation to exchange information, professional, cultural and social activities.
In the past three years the association prepared the event “Our Castle”, which was dedicated to students of town’s primary schools. They also participated in the preparation of the two most successful exhibitions of Ľubovnianske Museum – “The magic tapestry” and “Mrs.of Ľubovňa castle”. Regularly participates in the preparation of the summer tourist season and cooperate with Slovak Scouting. For young lovers of history (pupils, students) association organized excursions along castles Malopolska duchy and the excursion tour of the city Krakow.
